HISTORY

Polfracht has been in the shipping business for over sixty years. It was established on 28th December 1950 as a state-owned company. Polfracht, being at that time sole shipbroker in Poland, became responsible for chartering side of entire Polish seaborne trade. Changes on Polish political and economical scenes have made it possible in the year 2001 to transform Polfracht into a limited company, Polfracht Shipbroking and Chartering Co. Ltd. Polfracht is now the largest Polish company of its kind, involved in wide variety of shipbroking activities, having specialist desks working in bulkcarrier, tanker, ro-ro, sale & purchase as well as liner markets. Expertise, years of experience in worldwide chartering, combined with energetic approach allow Polfracht to provide perfect service to all its customers including major Polish fand foreign trading houses and shipowners.

Our daughter company, Polfracht Shipping Agency Ltd, provides wide range of agency services in all Polish ports.
