| The very old fishing town of Puck has been connected with the sea since the very beginning of its existence. It owes its praiseworthy past and present attractiveness, first of all, to the sea. It offers many surprises to inquisitive tourists and diversified entertainment as well as sport events and recreation to seekers of adventures. Beautiful landscape of morainic upland, called Kepa Pucka, make the town a place of growing interest. It can praise of not only warm and very clean waters in the Puck Bay, but also excellent conditions to praise water and beach sports. Every year the best Polish and foreign sailors call at Puck Harbour to take part in the yachts' races including Championship of the World and Europe. Protruded deep into the sea, the pier enables the viewers to observe the sailors' manoeuvres. Next to the yacht harbour there are sandy beaches and guarded swimming areas, sport centres and a picturesque park, the best place for joggers. Far shallows perfectly facilitate windsurfing. If you want to have sporty holidays come to Puck, which pervaded with this spirit for years, has been famous of its great achievements in the country. | ||
