We are sitting in the Polfracht Building in Gdynia.

It is the only Polish city of its size where it is possible to walk to the sea shore in 5 minutes of the town centre.
An attractive, modern city, it is hardly surprising that Gdynia is such a favourite resort for both domestic and foreign tourists.

A very special point on the map is 54o32' North latitude, 18o33' East longitude - The Port of Gdynia is the youngest Polish port in the Baltic Sea Region, yet one of the modern, with highly specialized cargo handling terminals.

Currently Gdynia has over 270.000 residents and it is the 14th largest city in Poland. The city's economy is very closed tied to its maritime links and over 40 per cent of its residents are employed in the maritime industry and port related business.
